Job Summary
Greet and welcome Members and Guests in the Golf Shop, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable golfing experience. Accurately record reservations in the online system, handle cash and credit card transactions, and manage point-of-sale operations per the Club Operations Manual. Assist PGA TOUR players and Members with their needs, verify advance reservations, and maintain merchandise displays at par stock levels. Perform daily cleaning of the shop and storage areas, conduct physical inventories, and communicate course conditions to guests and staff via radio. Answer telephones to schedule starting times and provide information on golf course profiles. Work shifts as necessary based on business levels at this private par-72 course in Norton, MA.
Required Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent education
- Basic knowledge of general business practices
- Basic knowledge of retail sales practices
- Basic knowledge of retail sales procedures
- One to two years of similar experience
- Previous customer experience
