Golf Shop Attendant

Job Summary
Open or close the golf shop for daily operations and attend to members as they enter. Answer phone calls promptly and manage the daily tee sheet accounting, including charging green and cart fees. Maintain an attractive, orderly appearance in and around the shop while assisting guests with merchandise needs and recording special orders. Know the Club's rules and regulations from memory, including hours of play, guest rules, fees, and dress code. Keep the shop clean and stocked with scorecards, pencils, tees, ball marks, and water, notifying the Head Professional when reordering is needed. Assist the Golf Shop Manager with displays, inventory receiving, and special orders while communicating with the starter regarding tee times and requests. Maintain a professional appearance in golf professional attire or business casual.
Required Qualifications
- Basic computer knowledge
- Excellent communication and public relations skills
- Must be able to greet membership in a friendly, courteous manner
- Know from memory, the Club's rules and regulations. (Including hours of play, guest rules and fees, dress code, etc.)
Desired Qualifications
- Basic Retail knowledge, but not necessary
