Golf Shop Attendant

Job Summary
Check in golfers, ring up charges at the register, and handle cash while maintaining proper procedures. Respond to inquiries, make tee-times in person and over the phone, and manage inventory controls for merchandise including shirts, gloves, and balls. Process returns and issue credit, then marshal and start rounds as needed. Assist the Head Golf Professional, General Manager, and Tournament Coordinators with daily operations and close of business functions. Notify supervisors of guest complaints immediately and resolve issues promptly. Perform multiple functions as demands fluctuate, including stocking areas and attending daily line-ups. Work in both indoor and outdoor environments with exposure to temperature changes, adhering to all club standards and uniform policies.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Customer service experience
- Basic Golf Knowledge
- Ability to communicate effectively with proper grammar
- Ability to work well under pressure, coordinating multiple tasks at any given time
- Ability to focus attention on detail
- You are comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments with frequent exposure to extreme hot or cold temperatures and humidity
- Attendance Requirements for this position as outlined on the weekly schedule
- Additional hours are required to meet deadlines of the position, including weekends and/or holidays
- You can be trusted to maintain confidentiality of all proprietary Company information and sensitive employee matters, except as expressly authorized by the Company
- You always perform at the highest level of ethical work standards
- Wear a CLEAN and neat uniform that follows Invited and your property uniform standards daily
