Job Summary
Supervise associates, interns, and outside staff while managing daily golf operations, including play tracking, merchandising, and club event execution. Provide professional advice to members, stock and control inventory, and operate the ForeTees POS and GHIN Handicap system. Handle membership special orders, daily sales, and promotions while maintaining shop cleanliness and protecting club assets. Work independently with minimal supervision, adhering to safety policies and reporting incidents to management. Full-time seasonal role reporting to the Head Golf Professional.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills
- Must have excellent customer service skills
- Previous experience in golf instruction and club fitting
- Must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time
- Ability to spend time in an outdoor environment in the sun, rain and other conditions
- Ability to lift 30lbs regularly
- Ability to lift up to 60lbs occasionally
- Must be willing to work various hours, holidays and weekends
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
