Job Summary
Greet members and guests professionally while assisting with tee-time reservations, check-ins, and pace-of-play communication. Process retail sales accurately using point-of-sale systems, handle transactions, and maintain merchandise displays and inventory standards. Answer questions regarding course conditions, club events, and policies, then coordinate with bag staff, starters, and rangers to support daily play. Assist golf professionals with tournaments, outings, clinics, and events while communicating operational updates. Ensure compliance with club policies, dress code, and golf etiquette. Work part-time days TBD at Farmington Polo Club with Saturday requirements and varying hours based on workload.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal) to effectively communicate with associates and leadership
- Ability to lift up to 30-40lbs
- Ability to stand, walk and sit throughout your day
- Walking on a variety of flooring such as carpet, concrete, tile etc
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with peers and leaders on a daily basis
- Ability to fulfill executive directions in a timely manner
- ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Working independently and as a team player
- Maintain integrity and high standards from all perspectives
- Maintain and drive safety policies; driving for accountability of safe practices throughout shift
- Flexibility required to work early mornings, weekends, holidays or extended hours during peak golf season
- Saturdays required at Farmington Polo Club
Desired Qualifications
- Customer service, retail or golf experience a plus but not required
- Maintain a welcoming, service-oriented atmosphere consistent with country club standards
