Job Summary
Conduct daily sales by evaluating customer needs, recommending golf equipment based on features and benefits, and educating shoppers on product differences. Operate launch monitors and simulators to provide valuable data during in-store experiences while maintaining awareness of promotions and demo merchandise. Manage the sales floor by assisting with floor moves, merchandising, inventory checks, and keeping the area organized to meet store standards. Research merchandise availability via computer database and requisition items from the stockroom as needed. Perform any other duties as assigned by management, including standing, bending, and lifting up to 15 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to spend work time standing or moving around the store
- Physical activities include bending, stooping, lifting (up to 15 pounds), carrying, walking and/or reaching on a frequent basis
- Have a working knowledge of word-processing, spreadsheet, inventory, internet and order processing systems
- Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates
- Golf knowledge/background
