Job Summary
Golf Professional at Dick's House of Sport focuses on building a robust student base and delivering high-quality instruction to golfers of all levels. Responsibilities include assessing swing goals, tailoring teaching approaches, serving as a Trusted Advisor to students, collaborating with Certified Fitters, supporting club-fitting and fittings, and engaging in community outreach to promote the Dick's Golf Galaxy experience. The role requires PGA/LPGA Class A membership in good standing, strong knowledge of Trackman Level 1 & 2, and a passion for golf technology and teaching. The position is based in Salem, NH, and involves in-person instruction with an emphasis on ongoing learning, goal attainment, and customer relationships.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 1-3 years experience
- Active PGA of America Class A or LPGA member in good standing
- 3+ years knowledge of club-fitting through experience and/or OEM training
- PGA of America Class A or LPGA Member in good standing, Apprentice Level 1,2,3 or interested in becoming a PGA/LPGA Member through our PGA/LPGA Associate Program
- Trackman Level 1 & 2
- Ability to multi-task & work in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for golf equipment & related technology
- Desire for continued learning (self) and teaching others
- Stays current with industry trends
