Job Summary
Greet and assist golfers upon arrival, coordinating cart assignments to optimize course flow. Provide clear instructions on course rules, safety protocols, and etiquette while overseeing practice areas to ensure they remain well-maintained. Maintain and clean golf carts and equipment, reporting maintenance issues promptly. Collaborate with maintenance and pro shop staff to address operational needs and monitor course conditions for relevant updates. Assist with event setup and breakdown as needed. This role requires evenings and weekends, physical stamina for extended periods, and safety certification. Based at Philadelphia Country Club's 300-acre campus, the position supports seamless guest experiences across the championship Spring Mill Course and Centennial Course.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality, preferably in a golf or recreational setting.
- Ability to operate golf carts safely and responsibly.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Evenings and weekends are required
- Physical ability to be on feet for extended periods and perform light to moderate physical tasks.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in golf course operations or outside services.
- Knowledge of golf rules, terminology, and etiquette.
- Certification in golf cart operation or safety training.
- Basic first aid or CPR certification.
- Familiarity with golf course management software or tee time booking systems.
