Job Summary
Seeking a Golf Instructor to join Interbay Golf Course, responsible for teaching fundamental golf skills, assisting in daily lesson operations, and providing guest service in the golf shop. Ideal candidates should possess strong knowledge of the game, marketing skills for promoting golf instruction, and the ability to coordinate clinics. A bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of relevant experience is required, along with PGA membership. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and exceptional customer service skills are mandatory. Compensation includes hourly pay, lesson commissions, and benefits for full-time employees.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
- 3 to 5 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Member or Registered Associate in good standing of the PGA of America
- Minimum 3-years’ experience in the golf industry preferred
- Willingness to work required shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime
- All applicants must be able to pass a drug screening and background check
Desired Qualifications
- Class A member of PGA/LPGA preferred
- Certification in NG360, TPI or AMPD
- The Pursuit of further Instruction accreditation and Knowledge is highly desirable
- Ability to be on feet for majority of shift and lift 25 lbs.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook
- Exceptional interpersonal, customer service skills
