Job Summary
Maintain turf and landscapes for the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and Brickyard Crossing Golf Course by executing agronomic practices, assisting with championship-level golf course maintenance, and supporting campus modernization projects. Prepare for, execute, and clean up multiple events including the Indianapolis 500 and Brickyard 400 from a facilities management perspective. Calibrate and apply plant protection products and fertilizers under the guidance of Golf & Grounds leadership. This hands-on internship offers intensive learning in sports facilities management and horticulture within the historic IMS environment. Flexible scheduling accommodates student coursework, with sessions running from 6:00 am through event season.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing, or graduated with, a degree in Golf Course Management, Turfgrass and/or Horticulture Management, Sports Management, or related fields
