Job Summary
Assist the head coach and staff with daily practices, drills, game preparation, and film analysis to provide player feedback. Mentor student-athletes academically and spiritually while supporting strength and conditioning programs. Manage recruiting efforts including communications, travel planning, database maintenance, and hosting prospective athletes. Support game-day operations, event logistics, and fundraising initiatives. Participate in institutional chapel services and promote the university's faith-based mission. Work 20 hours weekly with evening and weekend availability. Requires a bachelor's degree, graduate program acceptance, and strong organizational skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Acceptance into a Graduate program at the University
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel as needed
- Strong Christian commitment
- Adherence to the standards outlined in the OCU Community Lifestyle Statement
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in coaching Golf or playing at the collegiate level
- Knowledge of NCCAA rules and recruiting processes
- Passion for mentoring and developing student-athletes athletically and spiritually
