Job Summary
Golf (Girls) JV2 Coach role responsible for coaching student-athletes in girls golf, planning and conducting in-season practices, ensuring safety and adherence to WIAA/district policies, establishing eligibility criteria, coordinating with the athletic director and varsity coach, enforcing sportsmanship, maintaining attendance and medical records, and developing a strong program through equipment oversight, team communications, and interaction with boosters and the media.
Required Qualifications
- Coaching in the sport with at least 3 years of experience
- Experience at the middle/high school level preferred
- First aid, CPR, and Blood Borne Pathogen training required
- Knowledge in sports medicine desirable
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals
- Ability to plan and execute practice sessions and meet deadlines
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and district staff
- Ability to maintain compliance with WIAA, district policies, and school board policies
- Ability to use computers and technology to accomplish job responsibilities
