Job Summary
Golf General Maintenance role performs routine grounds upkeep to keep the golf course safe, attractive, and functional. Responsibilities include mowing, trimming, watering, fertilizing turf; inspecting and maintaining golf course equipment (mowers, carts, irrigation systems); minor repairs to benches, signage, pathways, and fencing; assisting with seasonal projects like aeration, overseeding, and landscaping enhancements; collaborating with the groundskeeping team to monitor conditions and report hazards; ensuring safety and environmental compliance while handling chemicals and equipment; supporting event setup and teardown for tournaments. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent; prior grounds maintenance/landscaping experience is preferred. Must operate and maintain equipment safely and effectively, possess basic turf management and irrigation knowledge, and perform outdoor manual labor in varying weather conditions. Potential to advance toward supervisory responsibilities within the organization.
Required Qualifications
