Job Summary
Answer incoming phone calls to reserve tee times and sell stay-and-play packages, while providing directions and promoting course amenities during check-in. Operate a multi-line phone system and deliver up-sell options to customers by matching products to their desires. Make outbound prospecting calls to sales leads as provided by the Director of Sales. Represent the PGA of America professionally to create an ultimate golf experience. Flexible hours available across days, nights, and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to answer in-coming phone calls from guests and members to reserve tee times and stay-and play packages
- Ability to welcome guests to the golf course and promote a positive image to the golfing experience
- Ability to determine and sell to the needs of guests inquiring via phone and website by matching products and services to their desires
- Ability to represent the PGA of America in the utmost professional manner
- Ability to handle in-coming phone calls for golf reservations and other golf-related inquiries
- Ability to provide up-sell options to customers
- Ability to answer inquiries regarding directions and PGA Golf Club services and amenities both during phone calls and at guest check-in
- Ability to operate a multi-line phone system
- Ability to provide a good impression to guests via telephone by being friendly and helpful
- Ability to participate in and deliver PGA's Standards of Excellence
- Ability to make outbound prospecting phone calls to sales leads as provided by Director of Sales
- Availability for flexible hours, days, nights, and weekends
