Job Summary
Starting golfers off and organizing daily tee times; assist in Day-to-Day tasks of Outside Operations under supervision (Director of Outside Operations and Assistant Golf Professionals); open/close Starters Hut; maintain stock of tees, pencils, scorecards; ensure cleanliness of Starters Hut; greet and engage with members and guests; convey daily golf course information, club rules, tournaments, and tee times; manage tee sheets, notify golfers of tee times, and organize Walk Up groups; manage daily stock of practice/short-game areas and assist with billing of daily golf fees for members and guests; update and track golf-course records; coordinate with Rangers to monitor pace of play via Visage; assist in cart maintenance and golf-ball/crate handling; lift 20-60 pounds; require strong service orientation, attention to detail, and professional communication with members (addressing by last name); basic knowledge of golf and related equipment; education requirement of High School Diploma or GED; full-time benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and other staff programs.
Required Qualifications
- A High School Diploma and/or GED are required.
- Related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience, and the basic knowledge of the game of golf are preferred.
