Job Summary

Maintain and repair golf course equipment and oversee a preventive maintenance program. Responsibilities include repairing failing equipment, keeping records of parts and labor for each piece of equipment, and placing orders for parts and supplies. Emphasizes safety and keeping a clean service area. Requires working knowledge of light and heavy maintenance equipment, internal combustion engines, and mowing equipment, plus skill in using a variety of repair tools and performing various mechanical repairs. Must diagnose problems and determine appropriate maintenance work, train maintenance workers on preventive maintenance and safe operation, manage records, and supervise shop activities as needed. Strong problem-solving, communication, and safety-consciousness are required; ability to work AM/PM, weekends, and holidays with potential overtime. Maintains equipment under manufacturer specifications and adheres to resort standards and regulations; ability to operate with minimal supervision and maintain a professional, guest-focused service attitude.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Graduate or equivalent
  • One year as mechanic preferred
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Must pass drug test
  • Must pass level 2 background screening
  • Flexible scheduling including weekends/holidays
  • English proficiency
