Job Summary
Operate gang mowers to maintain tees, greens, fairways, and roughs; trim edges, repair turf, and clear uncontrolled weeds and brush. Perform general landscaping duties including grooming terrain, placing structural materials, planting trees and shrubs, and maintaining restrooms and water coolers. Monitor overall course condition by picking up garbage and servicing ball washers while raking and grooming bunkers. Work outdoors under all weather extremes in a strenuous physical labor environment with general supervision from the Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent. Background checks and drug screenings are required prior to employment.
Required Qualifications
- Some skill in the operation of small-motorized equipment essential to lawn maintenance and upkeep such as mower machines, tillers, SandPro, and trimmers
- Ability to work in the outdoors under all weather extremes
- Ability to perform strenuous physical labor
- Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing
- Periodic travel required in normal course of job performance
- Background check
- Drug screening evaluation
