Job Summary
Conduct day-to-day maintenance of golf courses and assist with special renovation projects. Drive company vehicles while adhering to safe defensive driving practices, traffic laws, and substance abuse policies. Perform course set-up to meet Resort standards, including mowing, grooming, and hand-watering turf. Inspect and supervise courses, applying plant protectants according to Pinehurst policy and North Carolina Law while maintaining application records. Carry out supervisory responsibilities by interviewing, hiring, training, assigning work, appraising performance, and resolving employee complaints.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education Diploma (GED)
- 3 years related experience
- Valid driver's license
- Successful completion of a pre-employment Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
- Annual MVRs
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
- Close vision
- Distance vision
- Color vision
- Peripheral vision
- Depth perception
- Ability to adjust focus
- Ability to see and react to surroundings including errant golf balls
- Understanding of proper golf etiquette
