Job Summary
Conduct continuous walking hand mowing of greens, operate utility vehicles and small equipment for tees, fairways, and rough maintenance, and perform daily sand bunker repairs including raking, washing out, and weeding. Dig and repair irrigation and drainage lines, apply soil and sand mix for divot repairs, and collect debris throughout the course. Adhere to all safety regulations, environmental policies, and health and safety programs while maintaining a clean working environment. Work outdoors in temperature extremes from high heat to cold and rainy conditions, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays. Handle physical demands such as lifting up to 50 pounds and working on sloping or uneven surfaces. Valid driver's license and previous landscaping experience required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Previous landscaping experience
- Must possess excellent customer service skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented and works with a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Must be extremely responsible with integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
- Must be able to work outdoors and endure temperature extremes from high heat and humidity to cold and rainy and will encounter other varying weather conditions
- Must be able to work flexible hours including, early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Required to move, lift, carry, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance
- Must be able to stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire shift
- Must be able to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, and pulling
- Must be able to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces
- All candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada
