Job Summary
Greet and welcome guests, utilizing seating charts to seat them in an organized manner. Clear and reset dining room tables, perform housekeeping duties in service areas, and execute daily side work. Utilize proper tray service, know service procedures and Micros operations, and collect payment from guests. Follow policies for responsible liquor service and use suggestive selling techniques. Maintain accurate cash handling skills while serving as a credit to Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel. Work any changes in scheduled hours as required, with mobility throughout the facility and frequent heavy lifting.
Required Qualifications
- Previous waitstaff experience
- Previous cash handling experience
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Excellent customer service skills
- Accurate cash handling skills
- Waitstaff etiquette and service procedures
- Knowledge of alcoholic beverages
- Sensitivity to various cultures, including Native American cultures
- Regular attendance and punctuality
- Able and willing to work any changes in scheduled hours as required
- Serve as a credit to Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel, and encourage others to do the same
- Mobility throughout the facility
- Frequent heavy lifting
