Job Summary
Five Iron Golf is seeking a Golf Coach to deliver high-quality golf instruction using TrackMan and Callaway Tour Fitting, build a loyal client base, and engage guests with lessons, fittings, and memberships. The role focuses on balancing instructional quality with engaging experiences, collaborating with Social and Performance Teams, and progressing toward a full-time instruction position supported by the Coach Development Program. Responsibilities include delivering individual and group lessons for all skill levels, utilizing TrackMan and technology for data-driven coaching, promoting lessons and memberships, representing Five Iron Golf at events, maintaining a consistent lesson schedule, leveraging social media for promotion, conducting junior clinics and community outreach, following up on swing evaluations, and pursuing ongoing education and certifications. The position emphasizes coaching excellence, client relationship building, data-informed instruction, and growth within the organization.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of golf industry experience or graduation from a PGM program.
- Proven one-on-one and group coaching experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of swing mechanics, ball flight laws, and launch monitor data.
- Proficient with video analysis and comfortable with golf technology tools.
- Excellent communication skills — able to connect with golfers of all skill levels and explain complex concepts clearly.
- Energetic and engaging personality with the ability to facilitate fun, group-based learning experiences.
- Physically able to stand, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs for extended periods.
