Job Summary
Lead the Club's senior operational leadership across golf, food & beverage, events, facilities, and financial performance. Develop long-range business plans, manage operating and capital budgets, and oversee cash flow, inventory, and asset safeguarding. Administer personnel policies, conduct daily facility walkthroughs, and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws. Coordinate marketing strategies to recruit members and patrons while delivering high standards of service to members, guests, and the community.
Required Qualifications
- Four-year college degree
- 3-5 years' experience as general manager or assistant general manager
Desired Qualifications
- 5-7 years' experience as general manager or assistant general manager
- PGA / LPGA and CMAA memberships
- Good organizational and verbal skills
- Ability to use logical and rational thinking to resolve issues
- Ability to perform basic mathematical skills
- Ability to monitor and develop subordinates
- Ability to visually monitor the operation areas
- Ability to write and read member communication
- Ability to perform moderate physical work
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. frequently
- Ability to bend, kneeling, crouching, climbing, reaching, standing, pushing, lifting and grasping for up to 5 hours without sitting
- Ability to consistently lift, carry and load adaptive and other sports equipment that may weigh 50 or more pounds
- Ability to sustain aerobic activity for 20 consecutive minutes
