Golf Assistant Mechanic

Assist with inspection, maintenance, and repair of golf course equipment including mowers, utility vehicles, tractors, and small engines; perform routine preventive maintenance; support troubleshooting of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues; document maintenance activities and service records; assist with seasonal equipment preparation; work under supervision of Equipment Manager or Lead Mechanic; follow safety protocols and company policies; may support setup/breakdown for tournaments or events. Ideal candidate enjoys the golf industry, is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and able to work in a fast-paced environment with high standards for turf quality and course presentation. Requirements include high school diploma or equivalent, basic mechanical aptitude, ability to use hand and power tools, willingness to learn procedures, attention to detail, physical stamina, flexible hours, and valid driver’s license. Preferred: prior experience with golf course equipment or landscaping equipment, technical training in mechanics or automotive technology, familiarity with reel mowers and hydraulic systems, welding skills, strong organizational skills, and ability to collaborate with course superintendents and field teams.
