Job Summary
Conduct independent research at the frontiers of your field for a three-year appointment, supported by a prospective mentor and additional funds for materials and supplies. Submit a well-organized research proposal outlining your interests, accompanied by a CV and three letters of recommendation sent directly to fellowships@bnl.gov. Earn a starting annual salary of $108,000, with the requirement to hold a Ph.D. by the commencement of employment and maintain a DOE UPIV credential for site access.
Required Qualifications
- Commitment of support from a prospective mentor at the Lab
- Prospective mentor must have an opening
- Prospective mentor must be able to support the candidate at the standard starting salary for postdoctoral research associates for three years
- Candidates cannot be more than three years past receipt of the Ph.D. at the time of the application
- Candidates must have a strong desire for independent research at the frontiers of their fields
- Applicants must have earned a Ph.D.
- Applicants must have a Ph.D. by the commencement of employment
- Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE Uncleared Personal Identity Verification (UPIV) credential
- Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a REAL-ID or REAL-ID compliant documentation
