Job Summary
Inside Sales Representative to support machine sales coverage for Gold Coast JCB. From the main office, serve as the primary liaison between Gold Coast JCB and customers, handling inbound and outbound sales inquiries, providing product information, and closing sales. Responsibilities include responding to inquiries via phone and email, identifying customer needs and recommending equipment solutions, preparing and processing sales orders, following up on quotes and leads, coordinating with operations for timely delivery, building and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers, handling complaints professionally, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, maintaining CRM records, and providing regular sales updates to management. Requires experience in inside sales within the equipment sales or rental industry, strong communication and customer-service skills, CRM proficiency, multitasking ability, and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of inside sales support experience and/or parts/service sales experience (preferably in equipment sales or rental)
- Proven inside sales experience, preferably in the equipment industry
- Strong customer service and a customer-centric approach
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Proficient in using CRM software and MS Office Suite
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience handling inbound and outbound sales inquiries, providing product information, and closing sales
- Ability to prepare and process sales orders accurately and efficiently
- Experience following up on quotes and leads to convert into sales
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in CRM systems
- Provide regular sales updates to management
- Stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends
