Job Summary
Respond to inbound sales inquiries via phone and email, and make outbound calls to prospective and existing customers. Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate equipment solutions, providing detailed product information including features, benefits, and pricing. Prepare and process sales orders accurately, follow up on quotes and leads to convert them into sales, and coordinate with the operations team for timely delivery. Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers while handling complaints and escalating issues as necessary. Maintain accurate records of interactions in CRM systems and provide regular sales updates to management.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of inside sales support, and/or parts/service sales experience preferably in the equipment sales or rental industry
- Proven experience in inside sales, preferably in the equipment industry
- Strong customer service skills and a customer-centric approach
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Proficient in using CRM software and MS Office Suite
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must pass any drug screens, background checks, and any pre-employment tests, which will be conducted in accordance with applicable law
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a high-stress environment
- Detail-oriented and able to work independently
- Collaborative approach to resolving issues impacting various groups across the enterprise
- Ability to understand processes (system and non-system), troubleshoot, develop, and recommend solutions
- Enjoy working in a dynamic environment and be a self-motivated team player
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Microsoft Project
- Ability to frequently move and/or transport up to 10 pounds
- Close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
