Job Summary
Handle inbound and outbound sales inquiries via phone and email to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate construction equipment solutions. Provide detailed product information on compact track loaders, skid steer loaders, and other machinery while preparing and processing sales orders accurately. Follow up on quotes and leads to convert them into sales, coordinate with operations for timely delivery, and maintain accurate CRM records of all interactions. Build strong relationships with new and existing customers, resolve complaints professionally, and provide regular sales updates to management. Work from the West Palm Beach office, occasionally visiting manufacturing sites, with full-time, exempt status and a competitive compensation package including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of inside sales support, and/or parts/service sales experience preferably in the equipment sales or rental industry
- Proven experience in inside sales, preferably in the equipment industry
- Strong customer service skills and a customer-centric approach
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Proficient in using CRM software and MS Office Suite
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must pass any drug screens, background checks, and any pre-employment tests, which will be conducted in accordance with applicable law
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a high-stress environment
- Detail-oriented and able to work independently
- Collaborative approach to resolving issues impacting various groups across the enterprise
- Ability to understand processes (system and non-system), troubleshoot, develop, and recommend solutions
- Enjoy working in a dynamic environment and be a self-motivated team player
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Microsoft Project
- Both office environment and occasionally manufacturing/factory environment
- Subject to noise and temperature changes
- Remain stationary, operate hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear
- Occasionally required to stand and move and/or walk
- Frequently move and/or transport up to 10 pounds
- Close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
