Golang Software Engineer

Job Summary
Develop, test, and deploy high-performance Golang applications while optimizing scalability and addressing technical debt. Collaborate with Product Owners, Security, and Infrastructure teams to implement technical solutions, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to best practices. Troubleshoot software issues to maintain system stability and reliability within Agile development processes, including sprint planning and retrospectives. Stay current with emerging technologies to propose improvements to existing solutions. This role reports to the Lead Developer or Software Development Manager and involves working with global teams across five continents.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in software development (Golang)
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (Azure or AWS)
- Hands-on experience with microservices architecture, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong knowledge of software design principles, performance optimization, and security best practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, Agile environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Payments, Financial Services, Banking, or FinTech is a plus
