Job Summary
Geriatric Nursing Assistant in a senior living community providing high-quality personal care to residents (bathing, dressing, grooming, continence care, foot care, positioning, turning, and assistance with meals). Monitor residents’ vital signs/weight, document shift assignments, communicate with residents and families, provide planned activities, and respond promptly to call lights and emergencies; must maintain nursing oversight and follow policy. Requires HS diploma or GED, 1 year GNA experience, Maryland Nursing Board registry, and successful completion of preemployment screenings; vaccination/testing for MMRV may be requested.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 year experience as a GNA
- Must be on the Maryland Board of Nursing State Registry
- Preemployment screening including fitness for duty physical, criminal background check, drug test and references as required
- Some roles may require vaccination/testing for MMRV
