Job Summary
As a GNA/Med Tech, provide hands-on resident care and assist with medication administration under the supervision of licensed nursing staff; safely prepare, administer, and document medications; assist residents with activities of daily living; obtain and document vital signs; monitor residents and report changes; support hydration, nutrition, and comfort; encourage participation in restorative programs and activities; maintain safe, clean, sanitary environments; follow infection control and safety procedures; attend in-service training; perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Current Maryland GNA (CNA-I) and Medication Technician certifications
- CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Med Tech; geriatric experience preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills
- Willingness to complete state-mandated educational requirements
