Job Summary
Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) needed for in-home non-medical care in Maryland. Responsibilities include assisting clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting; helping with safe movement and transfers; meal preparation and feeding; monitoring and recording vital signs; providing companionship and emotional support; light housekeeping related to patient care; reminding clients about medications; maintaining a safe, clean environment; documenting care provided and reporting changes to nurses or family. Requirements: Active Maryland GNA certification; current CPR certification (preferred); valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; ability to pass a background check; ability to provide 2 professional references; PPD, QuantiFERON Gold or CXR.
