Job Summary
Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) - provide non-medical in-home care to seniors in Maryland. Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility transfers, meal preparation and feeding, monitoring and recording vital signs, providing companionship and emotional support, light housekeeping related to patient care, medication reminders, maintaining a safe environment, and documenting care and reporting changes to nurses or family. Requires active MD GNA certification and valid driver’s license with reliable transportation; CPR certification preferred; background check and two professional references required; PPD/QuantiFERON Gold or CXR testing. Flexible scheduling available (Full-time, Part-time, PRN). Competitive pay $25–$28/hour.
Required Qualifications
- Active Maryland GNA certification
- Current CPR certification (preferred)
- Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation
- Ability to pass background check
- Ability to provide 2 professional references
- PPD, QuantiFERON Gold or CXR
