Job Summary
Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) needed for in-home non-medical care in Maryland. Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, aiding mobility and transfers, meal prep and feeding, monitoring and recording vital signs, providing companionship and emotional support, light housekeeping related to patient care, reminding clients about medications, maintaining a safe environment, documenting care and reporting changes to nurses or family. Requirements include active Maryland GNA certification, CPR certification (preferred), valid driver’s license with reliable transportation, ability to pass a background check, provide two professional references, and TB testing (PPD/QuantiFERON Gold/CXR). Schedule is flexible (Full-time, Part-time, PRN) with competitive pay of $25–$28/hour and potential for long-term client relationships and growth.
Required Qualifications
- Active Maryland GNA certification
- Current CPR certification (preferred)
- Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation
- Ability to pass background check
- Ability to provide 2 professional references
- PPD, QuantiFERON Gold or CXR
