Job Summary
Provide non-medical in-home care to seniors in Maryland as a Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA). Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting; help clients move safely, transfer from bed/chair, and assist with walking; prepare meals and assist with feeding; monitor and record vital signs and client condition; provide companionship and emotional support; perform light housekeeping related to patient care; remind clients about medications; maintain a safe and clean environment; document care provided and report changes to nurses or family.
Required Qualifications
- Active Maryland GNA certification
- Current CPR certification (preferred)
- Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation
- Ability to pass background check
- Ability to provide 2 professional references
- PPD, QuantiFERON Gold or CXR
