Job Summary
Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) for in-home non-medical care in Maryland. Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility/transfers, meal preparation and feeding, monitoring and recording client condition including vital signs, providing companionship and emotional support, light housekeeping related to patient care, medication reminders, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and documenting care provided with reporting to nurses or family. Requirements: active Maryland GNA certification, CPR certification (preferred), valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, ability to pass a background check, two professional references, and completion of PPD, QuantiFERON Gold or CXR.
