Job Summary
Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) providing in-home, non-medical care to seniors in Maryland. Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility/transfers, meal preparation and feeding, monitoring vital signs, providing companionship, light housekeeping related to patient care, reminding clients about medications, maintaining a safe environment, and documenting care provided for nurses/family. Requirements include active Maryland GNA certification, CPR certification (preferred), valid driver’s license with reliable transportation, ability to pass background checks, and ability to provide two professional references, plus PPD/QuantiFERON Gold or CXR. Compensation ranges from $25–$28/hour with flexible scheduling (Full-time, Part-time, PRN) and potential for long-term client relationships and growth.
Required Qualifications
