Job Summary
Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) for in-home, non-medical care in Maryland. Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers, meal preparation and feeding, monitoring vital signs, providing companionship and emotional support, light housekeeping, medication reminders, maintaining a safe environment, documenting care and reporting changes. Requires active Maryland GNA certification; CPR certification preferred; valid driver's license with reliable transportation; ability to pass a background check and provide two professional references; TB testing or equivalent (PPD, QuantiFERON Gold, or CXR). Compensation ranges from $25–$28 per hour with flexible scheduling including Full-time, Part-time, and PRN opportunities. Offers potential for long-term client relationships and performance-based growth.
Required Qualifications
- Active Maryland GNA certification
- Current CPR certification (preferred)
- Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation
- Ability to pass background check
- Ability to provide 2 professional references
