Job Summary
Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) needed to provide non-medical in-home care for seniors in Maryland. Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting; helping clients move safely and transfer between bed and chair; meal preparation and feeding; monitoring and recording vital signs; providing companionship and emotional support; light housekeeping related to patient care; reminding clients about medications; maintaining a safe, clean environment; documenting care and reporting changes to nurses or family. Requires active Maryland GNA certification; CPR certification preferred; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; ability to pass a background check and provide two professional references; PPD/QuantiFERON Gold or CXR may be required. Competitive pay of $25–$28/hour with flexible scheduling (Full-time, Part-time, PRN) and opportunities for long-term client relationships and growth.
Required Qualifications
- Active Maryland GNA certification
- Current CPR certification (preferred)
- Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation
- Ability to pass background check
- Ability to provide 2 professional references
- PPD, QuantiFERON Gold or CXR
