Job Summary
GMS Applications Engineer responsible for the design, development, testing, validation and implementation of EMS applications within the Energy Management Systems portfolio. Provides 24/7 EMMS production support, serves as SME to project teams, and collaborates with Market Participants. Tasks include evaluating EMS/OTS components (State Estimator, Contingency Analysis, Load Forecasting, Load Frequency Control, Dispatcher Load Flow), coordinating test setups, performing model testing, validating site failovers/patches, supporting disaster recovery drills, mentoring junior engineers, and driving system reliability improvements through tools and process enhancements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field (Required)
- Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field (Preferred)
