Job Summary
Maintain assigned areas within Good Manufacturing Practice standards by performing sanitization duties, wipe-downs, and shut-down cleaning while adhering to all customer and SBM SOPs. Execute repetitive tasks including wall, floor, and window maintenance, accurately complete daily FN logs, and respond to customer requests in a professional manner. Comply with safety rules, wear proper personal protective equipment, and stop risk behaviors of self and others. Support shift leads in completing punch-list items and work orders, and act as an area fill-in during staff shortages. Complete required training modules, annual qualifications, and chemical safety certifications.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma / GED
- 6mo to 1 year of experience
- CPR/AED/First Aid certification
- Valid driver's license
- Completed all safety and task training certification
- Forklift certified
- Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment
- Knowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipment
- Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma / GED – preferred
- 6mo to 1 year of experience – preferred
- CPR/AED/First Aid certification a plus
