Job Summary
Maintain assigned areas within Good Manufacturing Practice standards by performing sanitization duties, wipe-downs, and maintenance issue reporting. Execute repetitive tasks including wall, floor, and window cleaning while adhering to all customer and SBM Standard Operating Procedures. Complete daily functional logs accurately, ensure proper personal protective equipment usage, and act as an area fill-in during staff shortages. Respond to customer requests professionally and support the shift lead in completing work orders and punch-list items.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma / GED
- 6mo to 1 year of experience
- CPR/AED/First Aid certification
- Valid driver's license
- Forklift certified
- Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment
- Knowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipment
- Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds
- Available to act as area fill-in in the event of general staff shortage
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma / GED – preferred
- 6mo to 1 year of experience – preferred
- Completed all safety and task training certification
- Completed all basic training modules and annual qualification trainings per customer Standard Operating Procedures
- Completed all safety certifications including chemical safety
