Job Summary
Lead and manage the scope, schedule, cost, and quality of global manufacturing and labs programs to ensure alignment with strategic business goals. Communicate with key stakeholders on status, risks, and accomplishments while partnering with customers and technology business partners to identify services meeting strategic needs. Build and maintain the project portfolio by creating roadmaps, annual budgets, and commitment plans that dissolve silos and ensure resource alignment. Ensure program and project teams comply with governance policies, monitor global key performance indicators, and rationalize initiatives to maximize delivered value. Mentor junior project managers and moderate conversations across diverse technical backgrounds to drive decision outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- Project Management Certifications (PMP, Prince 2, Agile, etc)
- 10+ years relevant experience leading highly visible, complex IT programs/projects including management of full lifecycle implementations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to handle issues that occur during project completion
- Excellent organization, budget, and time management skills to keep projects on track and within budget
- Excellent oral and written English communications skills, business acumen, problem solving, and analytical skills to communicate ideas and data in a persuasive and appropriate manner
- Extensive experience formulating, organizing, and monitoring inter-connected projects
- Extensive experience partnering with business area leaders to plan and deliver programs and projects with limited or competing resources (time, budget, people)
- In-depth pharmaceutical manufacturing industry experience (GxP shopfloor)
- Extensive exposure to pharmaceutical manufacturing regulations and quality assurance/control
- Ability to manage data collection and analysis to make fact-based decisions
- Ability to set priorities, develop workflow processes, and manage teams in a fluid environment
- Ability to assess strengths and weaknesses of team members and provide suggestions for improvement
- Expertise in managing large-scale projects and programs, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals
- Strong strategic planning skills, able to develop effective project plans and roadmaps
- Proficient in stakeholder management, capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Experienced in budget management, able to allocate resources efficiently and control project costs
- Skilled in resource allocation, ensuring optimal deployment of personnel and assets for project success
- Knowledgeable in compliance, familiar with regulatory requirements and internal policies affecting project management
- Strong drive for delivery and ability to jump between 5-10 different projects / topics
- Natural ability to quickly gauge priorities
- Training and mentoring experience to help with improvement and adoption of PM best practices
- Comprehensive expertise in your discipline and broad knowledge across related areas
- Ability to anticipate internal/external challenges, recommending improvements, and providing leadership and consultative expertise where needed
- Ability to work interdisciplinary and across time zones
