Job Summary
GME Manager focused on oversight of centralized and residency processes for Jefferson Health's GME programs, ensuring compliance with ACGME, CODA, and CPME requirements. Manages administrative functions for residents and fellows, supports program directors in policy development and execution, maintains GME records, coordinates licensing/visa processes, space and budget planning, and national-standards reporting. Plays a key role in resident/fellow recruitment, credentialing, and coordination of events (Orientation, Graduation) and ensures accurate data reporting via NI and other systems; collaborates with GME leaders and program directors to sustain accreditation readiness and program quality.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Minimum of three years of GME experience preferred
- Experience in GME residency coordination
- Familiarity with ACGME accreditation requirements
- Proficient knowledge of licensing processes, visas, and ECFMG requirements
- Knowledge of New Innovations Software System (NI) or similar HR/databases
- Experience with medical staff credentialing and LOAs
- Ability to track budgets, space, and duty hours
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with visa processes for residents/Fellows and J-1 handling
- Experience coordinating orientation, evaluations, and GMEC surveys
- Capability to manage recruitment and faculty appointments
- Ability to prepare and analyze reports for leadership
- Familiarity with state medical boards and licensure processes
- Experience with HR applications and timekeeping for residents/fellows
- Experience with accreditation reporting requirements
