Job Summary
Assemble, disassemble and/or modify aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes; oversee assembly/disassembly/overhaul; configure aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment; troubleshoot complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to isolate faults and repair components; perform validation/verification testing of systems and components; document procedures and results to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance; inspect components and verify repairs for flight worthiness; oversee training; 100% onsite role with up to 20% domestic travel for offsite support/training; requires respirator use, ability to lift ~35 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces; forklift/truck-mounted crane experience and CDL are a plus; previous GMD or ordnance experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience with assembling, repairing, and testing mechanical and electrical components and systems
- Able to use a respirator or have been respirator certified
- Able and willing to travel up to 20% of the time domestically for offsite support and offsite training
- Able and willing to ascend and descend vertical work ladders, travel in silo basket (maximum load capacity of 275lbs)
- Willing and Able to work in confined spaces
- Lift loads approximately 35 pounds

- Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance required (Past 24 months active considered active)
