Job Summary
Inspect pallets for damage and wear, then perform precise repairs using hand and power tools to replace damaged boards and reinforce components. Evaluate completed pallets to ensure they meet PLA standards and clean debris from the workspace. Maintain equipment settings and escalate technical process issues to leadership while fostering collaborative partnerships with facility staff. Deliver on daily production requirements in a fast-paced assembly line environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work with high-powered saws in a fast-paced assembly line environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to identify defects and imperfections in pallets
- Lifting, pushing, and pulling 75 pounds or more repeatedly throughout the workday
- Hazards require the use of personal protective equipment while in facility production areas
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in pallet repair, woodworking, or construction
- Knowledge of operating a variety of saws, including uses and maintenance
