Job Summary
Monitor product quality, customer service standards, and sales trends against budget while managing food, labor, and controllable costs to ensure profitability. Professionally respond to customer concerns, solicit feedback to improve operations, and oversee recruiting, training, and performance reviews for direct reports. Execute administrative duties, manage inventory levels, maintain equipment, and ensure compliance with all laws and safety standards. Work long hours including nights, weekends, and emergencies, reporting directly to the General Manager when the Operations Manager role is unavailable.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
- Must have a driver's license valid under the laws of the state(s) where the team member works, insurance, satisfactory vehicle and ability to drive
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to work long hours (50+ hours per week required), scheduled or unscheduled, which will include nights, weekends, and as emergencies arise
- Serv-Safe/Local/State Food Service Certification
- Basic accounting including invoice reconciliation and financial statement analysis
- Cash management skills
- Bilingual in certain markets
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to work long hours (50+ hours per week required), scheduled or unscheduled, which will include nights, weekends, and as emergencies arise
Desired Qualifications
- Two years successful restaurant management or supervision experience preferred
