Job Summary
Role: Product Head – IoT & Platform leading end-to-end New Product Development lifecycle for next-generation IoT platforms and solutions (Connected Cars, AMI, Industry 4.0). Direct a 4-5 person team to architect, build, and scale CMP, DMP, and AEP capabilities; serve as CoE for scalable IoT architectures; drive cross-functional execution with Network, IT, Legal, Finance, and Vodafone Group for swift, compliant rollouts. Responsibilities include NPD execution, platform roadmap development, revenue and commercial ownership, pre-sales, deal pursuit (RFP/RFX), pilots/POCs, and ensuring data security and enterprise SLAs. Core competencies include NPD framework mastery, platform architecture (CMP/DMP/AEP), domain exposure across Connected Cars, AMI, and Industry 4.0, commercial acumen, and strong technical versatility. Must-have qualifications emphasize engineering education and significant experience in enterprise IoT/product development; MBA is a strong advantage. Location: Mumbai, India.
Required Qualifications
- Engineering Graduate / Post Graduate in Electronics, Electronics & Telecommunications, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering
- MBA or equivalent business degree (strong advantage)
- 10-15 years of core industry experience with product development, pre-sales engineering, or solution selling within enterprise IoT/telecom/automation sectors
- Experience leading development teams and scaling IoT platforms (e.g., ThingWorx, MindSphere, AWS IoT Core, Azure IoT Central)
- Proven track record of executing structured GTM strategies and partner alliances
