Job Summary
GM and Owner of a new vertical driving end-to-end P&L from zero to revenue, with ownership of strategy, execution, and scaling. Role combines business development, deal structuring, operating design, and automation to create a scalable, repeatable revenue motion. Hybrid, Los Angeles-based, reporting to the CEO or VP of Operations, and serving on Realm’s leadership team. Responsibilities include identifying anchor partners, designing acquisition and monetization strategies, standing up end-to-end operating models, automating workflows, and scaling with AI-enabled systems. You’ll drive revenue, unit economics, and operational performance, and work cross-functionally with product, data, and engineering to translate vertical needs into platform features. Strong emphasis on ownership, experimentation, pilots, and rapid formalization of what works; targeted to operators with experience in ventures or industries like construction, real estate, or fintech.
Required Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience in business development, operations, consulting, marketplaces, or early-stage startups
- Proven experience launching or scaling a new business line, vertical, or revenue channel
- Comfort owning ambiguous, cross-functional problems with real financial stakes
- Strong operator instincts — you ship, iterate, and fix
- Fluency in data, unit economics, and funnel mechanics
- High comfort using AI and automation as leverage
- Clear, confident communicator with strong judgment
- Based in or willing to be in Los Angeles regularly
