Job Summary
Establish PMO governance frameworks, standardize delivery practices, and enforce project approval and closure processes to align all initiatives with strategic and financial goals. Lead portfolio planning, prioritization, and execution tracking while monitoring progress, risks, and interdependencies across business functions. Support teams in detailed planning, scheduling, and budgeting; implement robust monitoring systems for timelines, costs, and quality; and deliver accurate dashboards and MIS reports for management and board reviews. Introduce data-driven insights for proactive decision-making, build and mentor a high-performing team, and serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on project execution and change management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess feasibility, resource allocation, and ROI.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- 20–25+ years of total experience
- at least 8–10 years in senior project/PMO leadership roles
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, MSP, or Agile preferred
- Deep knowledge of project, program, and portfolio management frameworks (PMI, PRINCE2, Agile, etc.)
- Proven experience in setting up and scaling PMO functions at enterprise level
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and influencing skills
- High proficiency in project management and reporting tools (MS Project, Primavera, Jira, Power BI, etc.)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial governance abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strategic mindset with strong operational execution capability
- Confident, structured, and process-driven leader
- Collaborative and people-oriented with excellent mentoring ability
- High integrity, resilience, and ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
