GM/DGM - Cost Controller

Formulate cost management frameworks aligned with strategic objectives and conduct competitive cost analyses to uncover refinement areas. Ensure precise product cost calculation, manage standard costs, and oversee variance investigations while collaborating with R&D, Engineering, and manufacturing. Lead efforts targeting cost and productivity improvements across departments by scrutinizing operational data for inefficiencies and recommending actionable enhancements. Offer cost-related insights to support budgeting, forecasts, and strategic business planning, creating dashboards to track KPIs and communicate findings to executive leadership. Act as a trusted cost advisor to senior management, organizing cross-functional sessions to embed cost management know-how and maintain robust relationships with internal teams and external partners. Requires 15+ years of overall experience with 10+ in cost management, FP&A, or operational efficiency, including a recognized qualification as a Cost Accountant or Chartered Accountant.
